Several years ago, I got married. It seems like that was forever ago. Especially with all that has happened since then! You know, like, having a baby and everything!
Mike and I chose George Street Photo and Video for our wedding photographer. We were impressed with their presentation when we met with them, and I really liked all of the example photography that we were shown. Their packages were reasonably priced (aka NOT $5,000+++ like many other companies that I was researching at the time), and we liked their album designs. After going through many different photographers work, we selected Tom to do our pictures. We were all set!
On our wedding day, we dragged poor Tom all over Chicago. It was a full day event. He was such a good sport about everything. Thank goodness it was only 68F on the day of our wedding, because we were running all over the town! FYI to brides planning their wedding - don't try to cram too many photography locations into your day - it's completely unnecessary! But we did get some amazing shots.......

Tom captured ALL the moments from the day. I was beyond pleased with the final outcome of our photos. Our albums for us and our parents were beautiful. Then, two years after our wedding, I got the news. We were in the wedding bible! You would have thought that I was being featured in Vogue by my level of excitement. Chicago Style Weddings scooped up some of our photos, and used them for a piece about hiring a photographer:
Wedding Guide Chicago did a Real Chicago Wedding piece:
I bought 10 copies. No, 20. See, bringing Tom and our entire (wonderful, beautiful, patient) wedding party all over the city of Chicago paid off!
Now, fast forward a few years, and we now have a third human member in our family. We took a trip down memory lane and worked with George Street again. This time, we headed to South Pond, and got some amazing shots!
