How To Create An Amazing Holiday Card Using Pretty Polite Print Boutique

Getting together a holiday card once Christmas would roll around used to be a point of stress for me. However, last year, I worked with Pretty Polite Print Boutique, and now I look forward to creating a beautiful holiday card that I feel great about sending out. All I need is a photo and Pretty Polite, and I am set!
This year, I knew I wanted to include two of our biggest life events that we had going on at this time. Anyone who knows us knows that we are in the process of building a house (all while living with my parents), and also that we are expecting our second baby. I spent a little bit of time thinking about how this could be done, and then, I had it!
My husband, believe it or not (:::insert sarcasm:::), is not a huge fan of dressing up for photos. So I felt that this was a perfect compromise for him this year! This has pretty much been his permanent look for the last several months (as has my look, complete with a pint of ice cream,) so it made complete sense for our annual holiday card. Our son loves hanging out at the house and helping us with small tasks as we work to put on the final touches. And our pup? Well, I think she REALLY enjoys living with my folks, but I know she will love this new home as well once it is move-in ready!
Photo Card Outtakes!
I had several customized options that I could select as I put in my order for our cards. First of all, I love that you can select the quantity in five card increments. This allowed me to dial in on the number of cards that I would need, all with only having a few extras to have on hand. You also have an option to add foil to your card, which we did for our "Merry Christmas, From Our Family To Yours 2017" text. Love this effect!
A few other upgradable options were to add a trim to our card and also to choose between signature pure white paper, classic linen pure white, textured felt, shimmer pearl, and double thick cover. I'm a shimmer kind of girl, and I loved the look when I saw the shimmer pearl on our cards from last year.
I also went with an adorable envelop liner. I knew this would help to pull together the final look of our cards. One of my absolute favorite things about Pretty Polite Print Boutique is that when you order cards with envelopes, they take care of printing your addresses for you onto the envelopes - for free! This extra help is SO very appreciated and needed. Addressing envelopes is the LAST thing that I have time for, and plus, I love the way their printed text looks on the envelopes.
Our order was placed, I approved the proof, and our order soon arrived at my door. I LOVED our cards as soon as I saw them.
As soon as I received our cards, I spent nap time adding the envelope liner to the envelops and stuffing our cards. And like that, they were ready to go! I cannot wait to drop these in the mail tomorrow morning. Off they will go, well before Christmas is here (I am notorious for sending cards out in between Christmas and New Years!) And I could not have done it without the ease of ordering and the printing of addresses by Pretty Polite. I love their selection and the gorgeous quality of their cards, which keeps me coming back year after year. Merry Christmas, From Our Family To Yours!
