Gorgeous Maternity Wear That Can Be Taken From Day, To Night, To Post Pregnancy
The following is a sponsored post by Matron Saint. All words about this fab line are my own.
I had fun shopping for maternity clothes with my first pregnancy, but this time around, I am looking to step up my maternity wear game. It's such a wonderful and beautiful thing to be pregnant, that I really wanted to find pieces that highlighted my bump and made me feel great while wearing them. Enter Matron Saint, one of my new favorite maternity collections.
It is a common misconception that all maternity wear is designed to be worn exclusively in the second and third trimester of pregnancy. Not Matron Saint. Not only can this line be worn at the office, in the evenings, and on the weekends, but the pieces are also designed to transition you to post-pregnancy as well.
The other day, I received the Maven Crew Dress. This dress is ta-die-for! It has such an amazing fit and hugs my 20-week pregnant shape in all the right places. This dress can easily be taken from day to night. It hits mid-calf and has the ribbed sides that I love. The material is a medium weight cotton/modal/spandex blend, which feels buttery smooth and allows the dress to flatter from all angles. It comes in charcoal (pictured), dusty rose, and black colors, and the company is planning to roll out additional colors in the near future.
I also received the gorgeous Founder Maxi Dress, which is a looser fitting, drapey garment that will fit well into that ninth (errr tenth!) month of pregnancy. This dress comes in a sage color in addition to black, charcoal, and dusty rose. It's timeless. And I love that this dress is built to be nursing friendly - exactly what I need!
I also have a pair of the Mogul Panel Leggings in a black color. If you have been pregnant before, you know that after month six it is leggings every day. Good bye, jeans! It's the only way to live. There comes a point in time while pregnant when no pants at all is the way to go, but most of us still have to go to work, and these leggings are the next best thing.
Lastly, I have the ever-so-flattering Executive Drape Jacket. It can get so cold in my office, and I will be pregnant well into winter. This jacket fits perfectly over the Maven Crew Dress and many other of my wardrobe pieces.
I am so happy to have found Matron Saint - they know what we women crave in maternity design. After trying on each of these pieces, I can see how they will all easily work for my post-pregnancy transition. Each of these pieces mentioned above is machine washable (easy to care for, yay!) They come in a variety of colors and there are a design and style for every body type. Being pregnant is awesome, isn't it? Well, it's even better with great clothes! Cheers!
