Do you see what is wrong with the above picture? I know, it is difficult to pick it out. It's so discreet. Hidden, barely visible to the human eye. You got it - DECAF! Something I did not see when grocery shopping yesterday with my son. Something I didn't see as I brewed coffee with my eyes closed after three middle of the night wake-ups from my son last night. Then my husband pointed it out.
This was cause for an immediate Target run. How is this form of "coffee" even allowed to be sold in the same aisle as the good stuff? Decaf should be banished to the back of the grocery store. Or at a very minimum, placed on the bottom shelf and flagged with caution tape. This is not the first time I've purchased decaf by accident. I'll give you an idea of who was not the hero of the weekend when they showed up with decaf coffee for my friends lake house getaway bachelorette party last summer. This will not happen again. I will learn to scan the package more thoroughly from now on. Farewell, Caribou decaf. You are not welcome in this house!
