As you all know, eyebrows are all the rage. My makeup routine is typically speedy and light. I do a brush of bronzer, brown eyeliner, and always, my brows. I have felt recently that my brow game was lacking, so I decided to head to the mall for an in-person tutorial. I resolve that in 2019, I will learn one makeup technique exceptionally well!
I learned that I am definitely missing fullness in my brows. The brow specialist who worked with me today introduced me to the The Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyebrow Kit. She was amazing, and so was this product! She showed me how to use the eyebrow stencil to shape my brow. I used the medium arch at first, but then she created a higher arch for me.
You can see from the above stencil how much filling in we were going to be doing.
The makeup artist showed me how to do an “Anastasia” brow and also how to do an every day brow. Below is a picture of me with one brow complete.
One Brow Done!
I immediately loved the results. The Anastasia Brow had a few steps for creating the look. Wax, powder, pencil, and then sealer. The everyday brow was simpler, only requiring the use of the Anastasia Brow Definer (I got this one, in medium brown). After my lesson, I am confident that with a little practice, I will be able to create these brows quickly on the daily!
I am very very close to trying micro-blading. For now, I will hold off and try my eyebrow kit for a while and see how good I get at the technique. Here’s to fantastic brows in the new year!
