How To Keep Motivated When Trying To Reach A Fitness Goal
Halfway To A Goal
The following post is sponsored by Fit4Mom. Check them out and try a class!
I have completed 4 full weeks of Body Back through Fit4Mom and we are now headed into Week 5. We are officially half way through the program! This week, I have tried several new menu options. I am a creature of habit and will often re-make some of our most favorite dishes again and again. However, these new dishes that I have tried have been fabulous as well, and they are now new faves of ours that I will be making on the reg.
Fried Cauliflower Rice Body Back Recipe - So Good!
For starters, let's talk weight loss. After four weeks of eating clean using recipes from the Body Back meal plan, and exercising, I have lost a total of 7.4 pounds. I started the program at 136.8 lbs and at weigh in this week I was at 129.4. I feel very different just 7.4 pounds lighter. That is a little more than 5% of my body weight that had to go!
The first two weeks of body back were definitely the easiest. It was easy to be "all in" when it came to commitment to the meal plan and working out. During week 3, it was easy to trail off here and there. I had three dinners out during that week, and I could have made better eating choices during those meals. One of them was celebrating our anniversary, so I HAD to splurge and get the ice cream!
As we head into week 5, I feel better than ever. I want to lose five more pounds during the back half of Body Back. I feel that I can do it. I can feel my family becoming healthier as we sit down to eat nutrient dense Body Back meals each night. That in itself is motivation to keep going.
With my recent weight loss, my clothes are starting to fit better than they were before the start of Body Back. It’s as if I have a new wardrobe! I am excited to be able to make several of my pre-pregnancy pieces work again for my post-baby #2 body.
I have had plenty of ups and downs during the past four weeks (you may have seen my Chocolate Cake Instagram Story last week), but for the most part, I’ve been sticking with the Body Back program about 80% of the time. I am committed to bump that up to 100% for the last four weeks. My goal is to finish stronger than ever!
