Master Bathroom Design Ideas That Will Make You Swoon

After months of pinning various bathroom design ideas, I was finally at a point where I needed to hone in on exactly what I wanted for our master bathroom. In our new bathroom, we designed the layout to have a freestanding bathtub, a large shower, two vanities, and a toilet closet. After construction begun, it was soon time to pick out a tub, tile, vanities, colors, faucets, mirrors, towel bars - the works!
In our former home, my husband and I each had our own bathrooms. They were small bathrooms, but it was really nice to not have to share my space with him. At our new home, we have one master bathroom and the goal with our space was to create an area that feels separate but is actually one space. I wanted lots of light for our bathroom space, so we had it designed with two large encasement windows that now stand behind our Wetstyle Cloud Freestanding Soaking Bathtub.

I loved seeing every step of the construction process. My husband and I were over at the house all of the time, carefully taking in each process as it happened. My husband is in the construction business, so he was especially interested in seeing the process as it evolved.

My husband ended up taking on all of the tile work in our home. Shopping for tile was overwhelming at times, but fun as well! Our master bathroom was going to be bright and white with some subtle grays incorporated. We brought over many tile samples and laid them out in different lights in order to determine what we liked best.

The construction process was fun to watch, but my favorite part was putting on those final decor touches to our master bathroom. Our Cloud Tub from WETSTYLE is by far one of our most favorite things in our home. It gets a ton of use - mostly by our children - but sometimes by me, too!
This bathtub is so easy to clean. It has a matte finish that goes perfectly with our modern decor. My kids love using those color tabs in the bathtub, and I have never had an issue with staining. There have been a few marks put on our tub from time to time by hard plastic bath toys, but they come out easily with a magic eraser.
Our tub always looks clean and crisp. It is easy to care for an maintain. It’s a perfect size as well. It is great for soaking, and I can easily bathe my two kids in it. It is definitely a statement piece in out master bath. We receive lots of comments on it from family and friends who come over to visit.
I love having green house plants in our bathroom. Our spaces gets a lot of light, and plants give a room a clean feeling. They add just the right amount of color and freshness pop that our bathroom needs.
Our shower turned out dreamier than ever. The marble has a clean look. Early on, I opened up our shower more that it was designed to be. I am happy that we made the decision to do this because it allows for max light to enter the shower. I purchased all new towels for our bathroom and have this wonderful towel stand as an alternative to a towel bar.
