We have been living in our new home for several months, and I am just now putting on the final decor touches. For a while now, my three-year-old son’s room has been fairly basic. He has his new toddler bed set-up (which he has been doing GREAT with!), a palm tree, and a few safari animals. Lorena Canals has helped us to pull together these remaining decor elements, and I am in love with the way his room turned out!

Safari Themed Toddler Bedroom Decor

My son’s room has a reclaimed wooden wall, which adds texture to the space. This wood came from a 100-year-old porch in downtown Chicago. We wanted bedroom decor that would complement the wooden wall. For the wall, we chose this adorable Canvas Wall Map.

It’s made of 100% recycled cotton. The colors were perfect for our toddler’s bedroom - khaki and green. And what goes better with safari animals than a map?!

For the rug, we decided on the Washable I Love Math Rug. We have another Lorena Canals rug in our playroom, and I cannot tell you how wonderful these washable rugs are. They come out SO CLEAN in the wash, which is great because they get a lot of use in our house. I also really liked the green color of this rug.

While shopping Lorena Canals, I found that they have the cutest decor pillows and cushions. For his bed, we picked out a Knitted Ruler Pillow. All of their pillows and cushions have a removable outer layer - which make washing a breeze. You can easily see that Lorena Canals had kids (and parents!) at the forefront of the design of all of their pieces. Easy ability to wash is very important in our house.

For my daughter’s bedroom, we got the Knitted Notebook Cushion and the Knitted Counting Frame. The counting frame pillow has moveable pastel balls, which has been a fun teaching tool for us and our kids. The cushions sit cozy on top of the Knitted Notebook Blanket - which is made of 100% cotton and cleans up very easily (I would know since our dog laid on it with muddy paws as soon as I opened it up!)

You can see how the Canvas Map, I Love Math Rug, Knitted Ruler Cushion, and School Garland make this corner of our son’s room pop. We love to use the map to talk about all the places we plan to go (and do go to, in our imagination!)

My favorite thing about our toddler’s bedroom is how much time him and his sister spend playing in it. Lorena Canals room decor has helped to make this a fun, creative, and interactive space for our kids to hang out in. Their beautifully designed decor is exactly what I was craving for this bedroom. It’s all pleasing to the eye, cozy, and easy to wash. What more can a mom ask for?
