I decided to get three very large tattoos in a matter of six months. Up until age 35, I did not have any tattoos. I’ve always wanted tattoos, but it took me a long time to come up with exactly what I wanted. I now have both sides of my ribs tattooed and my hip/leg area. I went to three different well-known artists for these pieces, and each one means so much.
This one has my children’s names wrapped into it. I now have both my kid’s names tattooed close to my heart, right where they belong.
This next tattoo is on my hip/side. The first photo was of the initial outline. Coronavirus had temporarily prevented me from having it completed, until now! It’s huge, has lots of flowers, and takes up the majority of my hip and side. It has a pink carnation in it, which is for Heidi, who we lost in November 2019. In-memory tattoos are very special. I love the way it came out!
This last tattoo is a wild one. I needed some ying to my yang. It’s psychedelic, bold, and out there. It’s exactly what I wanted. I absolutely love the vibrant colors.
