Recently, I spent some time purging my shoe collection and beefing it up with some fabulous business casual options. For a couple years now, my go-to work shoe was a Frye leather flat with a pointed toe. They are cute shoes, but the look become extremely redundant after a while.
After coming back to work from maternity leave when I had my daughter, my shoe game seemed more behind than ever. I slowly worked to incorporate a variety of different shoe styles that would fit my personality and office look.
When it comes to work shoes, I like to start the week off strong. Heels, always. After a lazy weekend, I like to bring my A-game to my first day back at work after a couple of days off. These classic Diane Von Furstenberg Ines Pumps are my go-to:
After wearing heels, the following day I like to wear flats. I am on my feet for a good portion of my day, so a break with flats is always needed.
At least one time per week I wear a pair of leather loafers. I love these Hispanitas because they have a one inch heal, which is the perfect height, especially when you are on your feet often.
