We received a hand-me-down changing table from a family member, and right away I knew I wanted to spruce this baby up! With a little elbow grease, paint, and contact paper, this table was as good as new just in time for our new baby's arrival.

Since this changing table was in storage, it was very dusty. I started by wiping it down with a solution of warm water and dish soap and then let it dry in the sun.

After I cleaned up the changing table, I began to paint. I had some samples on hand since we had recently selected paint for our new house. I use two colors by Behr- Statuesque and White Lie. I thought the contrast looked great!

Next up was the top drawer. There are so many options for contact paper out there. I selected a simple chevron print. Below, I give several options that can be scooped up from Amazon.

The last step in my changing table makeover was to purchase a new changing pad and changing pad cover. Once this was complete, my DIY Changing Table Makeover was finished. The new color scheme goes fantastic with our neutral nursery decor.

The following are products from Amazon that will get you well on your way to making over your own changing table. Thank you for reading, and good luck with your DIY project!
